Hanoi (VNA) – Minister of Industry and Commerce Nguyen Hong Dien and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha will answer questions on matters within their competence on March 16, as part of the 9th session of the Committee member of the National Assembly (AN).

The question-and-answer session, held at the NA building in Hanoi, is connected with all 63 delegations of NA deputies across the country via video conference and broadcast live on Vietnamese television, radio and voice. of Vietnam and NA television.

In his opening remarks, NA President Vuong Dinh Hue said the Q&A session, the first of the 15th NA Standing Committee, will focus on two clusters of issues.

With regard to the industry and commerce sector, legislators will ask questions about the production, import, supply and management of oil prices; market surveillance and the fight against contraband, counterfeits and goods of poor quality or of uncertain origin; as well as measures to ensure the smooth flow, export and import of goods, in particular agricultural products, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the meantime, natural resource and environmental issues to be addressed include planning, use and management of urban lands; the auction, transfer, purchase and settlement of land complaints and denunciations; and waste disposal and treatment.

Besides the two ministers, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh and heads of some other ministries will also elaborate on related issues./.
